Call Process Update: We have an interim pastor!
Pastor Darryl Roste has accepted an invitation by Ascension Church Council to become our interim pastor effective October 1. Pastor Roste is currently the pastor at Mount Zion Lutheran Church (Edmonton) where he has served for the last 14 years. Pastor Roste will serve full time, have full authority and responsibility of a regularly called pastor and will participate in the various committee and other activities of Ascension as agreed upon with the Church Council. We wish to extend a warm welcome to Pastor Roste!
A MESSAGE FROM PASTOR LARRY AND FAMILY
Dear sisters and brothers, heartfelt thanks and appreciation for the amazing farewell this past Sunday. To all who planned and prepared, to all who shared, to all who laughed and/or cried – we express our thanks. Soli deo Gloria indeed!
