In 2013, Ascension became Partner Congregations with the Santiago Apostol Lutheran Church in Yopal. We have enjoyed getting to know our new brothers and sisters in Christ by sharing services through Skype, praying for each other during worship, and sharing recipes with them.

Joyce Hendrickson and Mark Rintoul had the opportunity to visit the congregation in Yopal while on the Synod Delegation to Colombia in July 2013.
